Very Pleased

We are new to Elements CRM but can very happily endorse this product. We love it. Our sales staff especially are very excited about its capabilities. More than that the support to get us started has been exceptional. There is no question that you could run your whole business while just working from within the Elements dashboard. Right now we are only using a couple of the modules but we will be working towards using Elements CRM for more and more. Well done Elements, and thanks for developing such a nice Mac centric business solution.

Misleading I think

it says Free but to sign up it costs $99 - isnt that correct? I never used it because the sign up form made you sign up for $99.

HIGHLY Misleading!!!!!! The "free" trial lacks all functionality!

THIS APP IS NOT FREE IN ANY WAY!!! What a crock. The "free" version is a public, web based version that allows you to look at the screens and cautions you to NOT put any real info into it. It is not a 30 day trial of any kind! While it does look pretty and I am confident it would work well I am extremely annoyed at this complete deception. Also, as a single user I find it very hard to swallow that a glorified contact manager is going to cost me $99 when so many other apps are $1 - $10. This seems exhorbitant to say the least.

Too expensive for what you get...

Ok, I have been juggling between a few platforms for a good Mac based CRM. Ive used Relationship, Contactizer Pro, Daylite, CRMHaven, and now Elements. I have to say, Elements is beautiful and has a lot going for it, but come on, you have to pay a $99 setup fee, then its $50 per month if you pay-as-you-go, or $25 per month if you buy a year in one shot! Thats almost $300 plus the setup fee! All-in-all, no thanks. Contactizer Pro is what I ended up with. Its not as beautiful as Elements, but its close, is very functional, is links up with everything Mac (iCal, etc.), and the best part is you only have to pay a one time fee. Cmon people at Ntractive, stop the ala-carte crud already!

FREE! Then you have to pay $100

Misleading. Im sure the program works great, but if you want people to download and use the software, at least be kind enough to let us know what it will cost up front. Dont ike the bait and switch...not good business.

At Last!!!

I have been a user of the industry leading CRM for 5 years, and have always been frustrated. I am a small business (<25 employees) and have desired to have a CRM that would actually help me. We have plans to grow, and we need to grow professionally. I knew having an effective CRM was important, but I was about to give up. I figured since I use Apple products (MacBook, iPhone) that MAYBE a software program that was designed with Apples in mind might work. I have purchased Elements CRM and I am cautiously ELATED! My sales person was excellent, but the training/trainer is OFF THE CHART GOOD. His understanding of our business, and how to integrate the features of Elements into our workflow has been as good as I could have ever hoped for. In a few weeks I will log back in and update you on our status, and with the training we have received thus far, I cannot envision us giving up with this CRM. The inability to "re-size" the screen is surprising, but is in no way a reason to avoid this product. I do not normally write these sorts of reviews, but other small business people need to know: if you are looking for a CRM that will help you, I think your look may be over. There is a learning curve, but the training support should make learning how to customize and utilize the product a good experience. THANK YOU Jennie and Will!!!

Elements makes work fun!

Elements makes work fun... not to mention practical. Weve been using Elements for 17 months and we continue to grow into features we never knew wed need. Print invoices, statements, reports from anywhere. Manage customer relationships effortlessly. 24/7 access to all our company docs, customer info, invoices, statements, and more thanks to the smart design of the system--1 part cloud,1 part local software. All of this without a single IT guy on staff, saving us money. The company frequently updates and improves the system with new features youll love (email marketing with Mail Chimp integration, mail merge, Twitter integration, Quickbooks... just to name a few). I highly recommend Elements to any small or medium-sized Mac business... afterall, your enterprise system should be as smart & beautiful as your Macs!

Free to Download.... then pay $99 to start using !!

Shouldnt be under the Free category.. should be under the "free to download" category.

Free should be free.

Free should be free. This app costs $99. Since it does nothing without paying $99 it should not be listed as free. There should be some functionality with the free download in order to list it as being free.

Not a way to build trust

After doenloading the "free" program you are asked to pay $99.00 to use he program. This needs to be moved to the regular programs. I would be willing to pay for a useful program but being misled off the bat does not make me trust this company.

Not free

Dont waste your time. They claim its "free" then try to get a hundred bucks out of you to open your new "free" software. How disrespectful of a potential customers time!

This App is Not Free!

You should let everyone know upfront that there is a charge.

NOT free and nothing to evaluate unless you pay $99 UPFRONT

This looks like a beautiful solution and although the website offers a 30-day free trial, this app download does NOT. After you download, you will get 2 views only: the first one shown above to login or signup. If you click sign-up youll have to pay $99. If you dont, the download is useless, as there is no sample database or free look at the software at all. The disturbing thing was after I realized what I had gotten into, I deleted the app, and it STILL shows up in my Purchase waiting to be installed again. I had even used AppZapper to delete it! Now Ill have to figure out how to remove it. This is NOT the way to gain customer loyalty and reminds me of browser hijackers.

Very Misleading

You get it for free but the set up is 99.00. Really!!

Love being in the cloud

It has been so great being able to log in to my business from home or work, and everything is live! The days of syncing are over. Ive become so much more efficient and am really enjoying the experience. Great app, and great training provided by their team. Take advantage of the free training, its awesome!

Your mac is your work horse?

If you are doing serious business an your mac you will need Elements CRM. Its the best solutions when it comes down to MacOSX business software. With a few clicks you setup your new company including your CRM, order and sales management and all the stuff like inventory. The best is its not a pain. No its just fun to manage your company, to deal with your clients to generate reports. I am a heavy traveller so I need a solution I can use from everywhere of the world. Elements CRM provide me this service. I just open my Macbook at the Airport or Hotel, in the US, Europe, Asia or where ever I have a internet connection I just can start working. So I would give 6 stars if I could. Elements CRM is the iTunes for business users.

30-Day Trial?

I outgrew my old invoicing system and really, really I wanted to like Elements CRM, especially after reading some of its reviews. But Im not sure where these reviews are coming from... employees perhaps? The 30-day free trial isnt something one can actually use. To quote the app, "REMEMBER: you are in a public demo account and other users may see your changes. Do NOT enter real information into this account since everyone can see it." A sandbox is not something that one normally needs to give all their information to have access to, nor is it something that normally requires a time limit. I dont have the time to experiment with fake data to find out if I want to use it. The developer seems to have confused a "trial" and a "demo". It feels like they wasted my time and collected my personal data under a false pretense. Moving on.

Its SaaS. Deal with it

Its amazing to me the number of people who offer 1- and 2-star ratings because they cant or wont seperate the pricing model from a review of the app. If you give the app a low rating, then people who could benefit from the app and are willing to pay for it see a 2.5 star rating and may look elsewhere. Virtually all CRM is offered under a SaaS price/licensing model now. Thats the direction the industry has gone. For SMBs, it kinda beats the old SalesLogix model, with a 4- to 5-digit price of admission. Like it or dont, but thats the industry now. A CRM is designed to help you make far more than the app costs. If it does that for you, then its a good app. If you have dozens of hours to spend getting SugarCRM or vTiger to work for you on your own Linux PC, have at it. If thats your idea of affordable, then you have different priorities than many of us. If you have more important things to do, then keep an open mind when evaluating an app. Dont expect everything to be given away for (practically) free. This is business.

Looks great.

Simply put: it looks great but its just too expensive.

Integration… you sure about that?

Nevermind the tiny screen size and misc things. For me this app said it would sync with AccountEdge, Quickbooks… well it doesnt. Either of them. I tried working with support… days would pass… no response. I tried everything to get my data to pass back and forth as it promised, that was the main reason I went with it. When this didnt work as expected, try as I did on my own to figure out what was to blame and getting nowehere with support, I cancelled it to find I would still be on the hook for $100 startup fees. Trust me, keep looking.
