Im not sure where to even start with my dislike for this product. The main dislike I have about Elements CRM is that you have to spend $99+ to find out if this program is really right for your company or not. You cant even experience what its really like until you purchase the program because the demo is extremely limited. After my first short phone call with support I got a pit in my stomach realizing how complicated and messy this program was to use. I got my hopes up and was even willing to spend a lot of money to have a good Mac-based CRM. However, I found Elements to be extremely lacking. And for a Mac program, its interface is extremely poor. Here are the other dislikes of mine that might be helpful to others: - Program cant go full screen on your mac. Its limited to iPad size on your computer. Pretty frustrating. - Poor interface. The text is small to read. The work area itself feels very un-Mac like. - Unless you are paying for the Enterprise version every month, half the things you click on tell you, "Sorry, you have to upgrade to use this feature". It gets old really fast. I wish they would just hide all the stuff that you dont get with your account. - Way too complicated. To do the simplest things, like track a quote for a customer requires way too many steps. The program is so complicated that I could never teach it to my employees. - Doesnt sync with Contacts. One might think that because its a mac program that it would sync with your contacts or address book, but it doesnt. You have to drag you contacts in one by one or import a spreadsheet. - Email syncing is a separate program and froze every time it tried to import my emails. Waste of money. - No quoting feature. For the small business edition, there is no ability to quote customers and to track quotes for customers. Even though Im a small business, I still have to quote customers so Im not sure what the thinking was here. Like I said, I loved the idea of a mac-based CRM. And I was even willing to spend $99+ to make it happen, but the reality is that this program is severely lacking for businesses like mine, where I need to quickly track where Im at with a lot of customers at a time. The steps you have to take to keep track of customers in this program do not help you be efficient with your time. Unfortunately, Ill probably have to look for a web-based solution.
Ive been using Elements CRM for about 4 months now. Its been really easy to learn and they have helped a lot with the training and setup; I was quite impressed with the level of support. I actually found this app to be very reasonably priced compared to similar products that have as many features as Elements CRM does. You get what you pay for -and Elements CRM has proved to be of great value. Well worth the low monthly fees! Thinks I like: 1. Its been so simple to learn. Very nice design and user interface. 2. Low cost, no startup fees. I dont have time to mess with a server, so I love that I just pay a monthly fee and everything is taken care of. 3. Great tool for managing leads and clients. You can keep time-stamped notes of communication youve had with your clients and the schedule followup call feature is really slick. 4. Easy invoicing. I can create estimates and invoices quickly and then email them to my clients from within the app. 5. The iPad App! Its just like the desktop app so there are no limitations. Love that I can check in on everything from home. 6. I love that Elements CRM can hold my high volume of records. I have nearly 500,000 contacts and the system doesnt slow down at all. Things I dont like: 1. Limited project functionality. Its simple and easy to use, but not as robust as Id like. 2. No direct integration with email marketing. You can export email addresses, but cant push them directly into my Constant Contact program so it requires an extra step. Overall, Elements CRM has proved to be extremely valuable in my daily business activities and in sharing information with my team. Its a great app at an afforable price for small business users. I highly recommend it!
Ive looked at a lot of CRM tools… yes, they are mostly SaaS. BUt Ive never seen a $100 setup fee! Most tools give you a free trial instead! Argh. And at $50/mo for a small biz or freelancer it is top shelf cost -- similar to advanced versions of Salesforce. By comparison, ZoHo CRM and Insightly are free. OnePage and Highrise are $15/mo. Other (very good tools) such as Less Annoying CRM, Pipedrive, Lead Zeppelin are less than this with more features. Ok, the pretty lil mac-style pictures are attractive in a Hello Kitty sort of way. Not at this price… But, the REAL problem is connectivity. The ability to have your SaaS talk to each other is paramount. Auto feeds to/from your invoicing tool, help desk tool, project management tool, email campaign tool, etc. THIS IS CRITICAL. Elements seems to sell an add-on (!) for email integration… whereas most tools provide this automatically by searching the bcc: field and updating the customer record with this information. And there are more integrated ways… and tools like zapier and IFTTT make their living integrating SaaS tool workflows. But the thing is, I have never seen Elements mentioned as a partner or integrated service in any of these other websites. Why build a simgle-app moat around your data? Are you really sure you know exactly how youre workflow will evolve in a year to two? Choose wisely.
Compared to other"in the cloud" crm packages, this one is comparatively very expensive on a monthly basis plus it comes with a setup fee. I went no further than looking at its real cost to my business then I closed the app.
My company needed an app that would help track customers, schedule calls, and generate invoices. Elements CRM works just great for this! The app is avalliabe for the Mac and you can get iPhone and iPad access as an Add-on. This app is way cheaper that Salesforce, does everything we need, and really simple to after you get it all setup. Elements really has helped up grow our business.
I have used Elements for years, and its been getting better release for release. It is the best mac-centric CRM, and what a powerful tool. I started out as a small business subscriber, but over time I upgraded to Professional as the business kept growing. Thanks for the help Ntractive. Keep up the great work!
Elements has been a life saver for my company. It’s been really easy to learn, the Elements training team was extremely helpful, and I’ve been able to get my team to adopt the system as well (which is never an easy task). We recently upgraded to their Enterprise Edition and I’m a big fan of the analytics. It has such an elegant user interface. The project tracking isn’t as complex as I’d like, but for lead and client management, this program is steller. I highly recommend it to any company looking for an SaaS solution.
Wow! It’s so nice to see such a great user intefrace in a business application. It’s beatuiful to look at and incredibly intuitive. This has been a huge help in the adoption rate of my sales team. I highly recommend it for people looking for something powerful, yet simple to use. So far, I am very pleased!
I want my software to be just as simple and elegant as my mac. Elements has everything I need and it does it in a way that makes sense. It gives me the freedom to focus on my daily tasks instead of trying to figure out complex CRM software.
I have been very happy with the latest release. A lot of bugs have been fixed which I know takes time, but I appreciate that they address the issues. I am still very impressed with the low price for all the features this app offers. I have not found anything similar at such a great price. I will update with a five star review if they add in more advance functions for invocing as I need to invoice in more than one currency. Hopefully this is coming soon!
Elements CRM is a great cloud business app for sales leads, opportunities/deals, invoicing and analytic reporting. Elements CRM also has a great Interface. One of the best I have used for business! Way cheaper than Salesforce and so easy to use once you get your account all setup and configured.
This software changed the way I do business. It simplified my day and my scheduling and I never miss a lead. My clients rave about my excellent customer service and timeliness thanks to Elements! This app gets an A+ from me.
Lifesaver. Can’t do business without it. I wish I found this app two years ago!
Elements CRM is an app with many, many features that help us run our business on a daily basis. The “Deals” features is great for tracking potienal deals/opportunies, then when you close the deal you can create an invoice, and send off a email receipt or send the client a link to pay on-line with their credit card. Great feature! These are just some of the new features in version 5.0. Elements CRM is getting better with each new version.
Very powerful CRM app for business. Love the features, the user interface and the great support they offers!
