Eye Candy + normal feature = Extreme Price?
Ive looked at a lot of CRM tools… yes, they are mostly SaaS. BUt Ive never seen a $100 setup fee! Most tools give you a free trial instead! Argh.
And at $50/mo for a small biz or freelancer it is top shelf cost -- similar to advanced versions of Salesforce. By comparison, ZoHo CRM and Insightly are free. OnePage and Highrise are $15/mo. Other (very good tools) such as Less Annoying CRM, Pipedrive, Lead Zeppelin are less than this with more features. Ok, the pretty lil mac-style pictures are attractive in a Hello Kitty sort of way. Not at this price…
But, the REAL problem is connectivity. The ability to have your SaaS talk to each other is paramount. Auto feeds to/from your invoicing tool, help desk tool, project management tool, email campaign tool, etc. THIS IS CRITICAL. Elements seems to sell an add-on (!) for email integration… whereas most tools provide this automatically by searching the bcc: field and updating the customer record with this information. And there are more integrated ways… and tools like zapier and IFTTT make their living integrating SaaS tool workflows. But the thing is, I have never seen Elements mentioned as a partner or integrated service in any of these other websites. Why build a simgle-app moat around your data? Are you really sure you know exactly how youre workflow will evolve in a year to two?
Choose wisely.
